One of the first big themes for Sydney Props in February 2006 took place in the Shannon Room of the AJC and was produced by Medical Meetings.  This was an important event for one of their clients so it was critical to produce the 'WOW' factor.  The Shannon Room does not often lend itself to themed events so it was time to show the capabilities of this venue.  Guests began the evening in an Arabian style market area created with small marquees dressed with various fabrics, persian rugs, cushions, urns and a few draped areas where tarot readers were able to perform their fortune telling.  Guests continued into the main area where the tent style effect was produced with approximately 1km of fabric & this set the tone for the rest of the evening.  Various prop displays as well as the a number of artfully painted backdrops created the sense of an Arabian dream and the guests partied into the night.
